DAY 01: DELHI
Arrive Delhi. Meet, assistance on arrival and transfer
to hotel. Afternoon tour of Old & New Delhi. Overnight
at Hotel.
DAY 02: DELHI- DARJEELING
Transfer to airport to connect flight for Bagdogra.
Meet upon arrival and transfer to Darjeeling –04
hours drive. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 03: DARJEELING
Sight-seeing of Darjeeling visit: Himalayan Mountaineering
institute, Himalayan Zoo, Tibetan Refugee Center and
Tea Gardens. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 04: DARJEELING- PEMYANGTSE
Early morning we will get up before dawn and drive to
Tiger Hill to see the Sunrise on Kanchenjunga. Return
to hotel for breakfast. Late morning depart for Pemyangtse-06
hours drive. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 05: PEYANGTSE- GANGTOK
Morning visit Monastery and depart for Gangtok- 05 hours
drive. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 06: GANGTOK – KALIMPONG
Morning sight-seeing of Gangtok visit: Rumtek monastery,
Tibetan Refugee Center and Institute of Tibetology.
Afternoon drive to Kalimpong 04 hours drive. Overnight
at hotel.
DAY 07: KALIMPONG – PHUNTSHOLING
After leisurely breakfast we return to plains along
the main road through Assam to reach the Bhutan frontier
Phuntsholing. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 08 : PHUNTSHOLING-PARO
A magnificent drive through forest & over the hills
to Paro valley- 06 hours drive Overnight at hotel.
DAY 09: PARO
Sight-seeing of Paro visit: Kyichu Lhakhang, National
museum, Drukyel Dzong & Rimpung. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 10: PARO- THIMPU
After breakfast depart for Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan-
03 hours drive. Afternoon visit Golden Spired Memorial
Chortan and Tashichho Dzong overnight at hotel.
DAY 11: THIMPU-PUNAKHA
Depart for Punakha –04 hours drive, The capital
of Bhutan untill 1955. Afternoon we shall either visit
the Monastery in Punakha Dzong or the one in the Tashichho
Dzong, as the monks commute when they are not in residence.
Overnight at hotel.
DAY 12: PUNAKHA – PARO
Drive through a drier landscape to Wangdiphrodang. After
a good look around we continue to Paro valley. Overnight
at hotel.
DAY 13 : PARO-DELHI
Transfer to airport to check in for spectacular flight
back to Delhi via Kathmandu. On arrival meet at airport
and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 14:
Return flight for onward destination.
