Ladakh and Changthang Tour

Ladakh and on to the Tibetan border

Sightseeing of Delhi and Agra with Taj Mahal. Fly to Leh and visit the loal gompas, drive to Alchi and see the 1000 year old statues, visit Basgo and Hemis. Then on to Lake Tsomoriri.

Itinerary:

Day-01: Arrive Delhi
Meet assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel near to airport for few hours sleep. Overnight hotel.

Day-02: Delhi - Leh   
Early morning after breakfast transfer to domastic airport to board flight for Leh. Meet at airport and transfer to hotel. Day free for rest and acclimatize. Overnight at hotel.

Day-03: In Leh   
Day excursion to Hemis, Thiksey and Shey monasteries. Overnight at hotel.

Day-04: In Leh  
Morning visit Phyang & Spituk monastery. Afternoon visit Shankar gompa and Leh palace. Overnight at hotel.

Day-05: In Leh   
Day excursion to Alchi monastery enroute visit Basgo monastery. Overnight at hotel.

Day-06: Leh - Tsomoriri Lake
Early morning depart for Tsomorari - 07 hrs drive enroute visit hot sulpher springs at Chumathang. Overnight in tents.

Day-07: In Tsomorari
Morning visit Karzok Gompa. Rest of the day explore the lake and its surroundings and is ideal place for bird watchers. Also visit the settlement of Nomads. Overnight in tents.

Day-08: Tsomoriri - Tsokar Lake  
After leisurely breakfast drive to Tsokar - 04 hrs drive enroute visit Sumda, which is the ancient village in 
Changthang . Overnight in tents.

Day-09: In Tsokar
Fullday to explore the lake and its surroundings and you may have the chance to see the herds of skayangs -
( The Wild Asses ). Overnight in tent.

Day-10: Tsokar - Leh
Morning drive to Leh - 05 hrs drive over Tanglang la - 5350 Mts. PM free for independent activities.
Overnight at hotel.

Day-11: Leh - Delhi
Morning transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi. meet at airport and transfer to hotel. PM combined city tour of Old & New Delhi. Overnight

Day-12: Delhi - Agra 
Morning transfer to station to board train for Agra departure 0615 hrs & arrival Agra at 0810 hrs. Meet at station and transfer to hotel. After breakfast sightseeing of Agra visit Taj Mahal, Fort and Itimud-ud-ullah's tomb. Overnight at hotel.

Day-13: Delhi - Onward Destination
Morning free. After lunch drive to Delhi - 04 hrs drive. Farewell dinner in Delhi followed by departure transfer for onward destination.

• 2 nights Delhi: On arrival Delhi, Ashoka Country Resorts on bed & breakfast; on arrival from Leh to Delhi, Hotel Siddharth on full board
• 05 nights Leh: Hotel Lharimo or similar on full board
• 4 nights tent: Two-men alpine tent on full board
• 1 night Agra: Hotel Trident or similar on full board
• all transfers and sightseeing by AC car in Delhi & Agra and in Leh by NAC car / jeep
• services of an English speaking guide during sightseeing and entrance fee to monasteries
