Day-01 : Arrive Delhi
Meet, assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight
hotel.
Day-02 : Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh
After early breakfast transfer to station to board train
for Haridwar departing at 0710 hrs and arrival Haridwar
at 1120 hrs. Meet upon arrival and transfer to Rishikesh.
Afternoon visit Ashrams, evening watch poja cermony
( Prayers ) at Travent ghat. Overnight hotel.
Day-03 : Rishikesh - Gangotri
After breakfast we drive to Gangotri - 08 hrs. Upon
arrival check in rest house. Overnight
Trek begins :
Day-04 : Gangotri - Bhojwasa / 05 hrs walk
We start our day with visiting Gangotri temple. We start
walking ascending gradually across the ridge. Most of
the time we walk along the bank of the river Ganges
in a gradual trek untill our camp. Overnight camp.
Day-05 : Bhojwasa - Gaumukh - Nandanvan - 05 hrs walk
We take an early start and after one hour we catch the
glimps of ganges snout at Gaumukh " The source
of Ganges ). Rest of the trek is on Gangotri glacier
passed through lateral moraine. The last 30 minutes
up hill trek will takes us to our camp.
Day-06 : In Nandanban
Day to explore this beautiful meadow which is the base
camp of Baghrathi peaks over 6000 mts. One can also
make day excursion to Vasuki Lake and back. Overnight
in camp
Day-07 : Nandanban - Tapovan - 06 hrs walk.
This day we make a traverse over Gangotri glacier to
reach Tapovan which means the place of worship. Tapovan
is the basr camp for Shivling and Kedar dom peaks. Overnight
camp.
Day-08 : Tapovan - Chirbasa - 05 hrs walk
We again traverse the glacier and follow our foot prints
by descending till Bojawasa and then further 01 hrs
to Chirbasa, a small settlement with couple of shops.
Overnight camp.
Day-09 : Chirbasa - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
We descend down same way we camp up till Gangotri -
03 hrs. Here we meet our transport and drive to Uttarkashi
- 04 hrs. Overnight hotel.
Day-10 : Uttarkashi - Haridwar
After breakfast we drive to Haridwar - 06 hrs. Evening
watch poja cermony at Har-ki-pauri.
Overnight hotel.
Day-11 : Haridwar - Delhi
After leisure breakfast we drive to Delhi - 05 hrs.
upon arrival check in hotel. Overnight hotel.
Day-12 : Delhi - Departure
Morning combined city tour of Old & New Delhi. Farewell
dinner and departure transfer for onward destinations.
