Wilderness on Horseback

Tour Highlights: 10 days with 6 days of an incredible Wilderness Horseback riding Vacation through the vast Sacred Tuul river Valley to Terelj National Park towards to Gunjiin or Manchurian Princess Temple-a beautiful small place full of history.

We will ride across the Sacred Tuul Valley rather hilly terrain with occasional patches of birch forest. Throughout the ride we will make contact with local nomadic families , horse-breeder's family to learn more about the lifestyle of Mongolian nomads. On the horseback trek we cover approximately 20 miles per day. Vegans are welcome with delicious vegetarian cuisine!. Our cook will prepare the meals over open fire. Horseback riding tour along the Tuul river, so it's easy to meet with locals and see their daily lives, interact with them to show you theirs animal training, feeding, milking, food preparation, etc, take water adventures, go trekking or swimming in the Tuul river.

 

Day 1. UB Arrival in Ulaanbaatar (UB) from Seoul, Korea or from Beijing, China or from Moscow, Russia. On arrival, you are welcomed and transferred by private vehicle to the
hotel a 3 star hotel or 4 star hotel. Today will be a day of guided sightseeing in Ulaanbaatar, including the Central Sukbataar square, and the Gandan Monastery. The rest of the day will be free for you to explore the city. In the evening, your guide will take you to a cultural performance to enjoy Mongolian folk songs and music. Following is a welcome dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2. Drive to Khogno Khaan mountain which locates 300 km from UB city. You can also try this day to ride a horse and we will with Nomadic families and see their daily lives, interact with them, to show you theirs animal training, feeding, milking, food preparation.

Day 3. This day we will have lunch at Khogno Khaan Mountain’s Camp and after that we will have a tour around the mountain. It’s good opportunity to ride a horse. Khogno Khaan Mountain is one of the seven mountains and is a beautiful mountain made of Granite. The right side of the mountain has sand dune, lake and green grass and is a good example of the beauty of Mongolia. Overnight in tent.

Day 4. Horseback riding to Khara Korum. Horseback riding Khogno Khaan mountain after a good breakfast, we will meet the horsemen and will saddle our horses and prepare for the ride. horse riding day 20-30km.

Day 5. We arrive in Khara Korum. We will go to Erdene Zuu. This is first Monastery of Buddhism and has built near Khara Khorum, the capital of Mongolia in early age, by the request of Avtai San Khan of Mongolia in 1585. Overnight in Camp. 20-30km

Day 6. Horseback ride to Tovhkon. We will ride through the nice Mongolian landscape Orkhon river, which all Mongolian ancestor lived. This is the largest river of Mongolia. Horse riding 30km.

Day 7. This day we arrive in Tovkhon Monastery This Monastery is located in 2312 meter above the sea level. This Monastery is built in 1654 and built by Zanabazar the first Bogd of Mongolia. Nature here is a truly inspiring place. Horse riding 30km. Overnight in tent.

Day 8. Drive back to Khogno Khaan mountain. Overnight in Camp.

Day 9. Drive to Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to the hotel. Today will be a day of guided sightseeing in Ulaanbaatar, including the Bogd Khan Palace, which is a series of beautiful traditional buildings in which the last religious King of Mongolia resided, and the Fine Arts Museum. Lunch in local restaurant. Some shopping. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10. Departure Mongolia. Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport.

North Mongolia Jeep Tour

Discover the north of Mongolia in 13 days.

 

Day 1. Ulaanbaatar
We will meet you at the Buyant-Ukhaa international Airport or central Rail Roud Station. Transfer to your centrally located 4 star Hotel. After a short rest (it depends on you) we will continue exploring Ulaanbaatar city. Visiting Sukhbaatar Square, Zaisan Hill, Gandan Monastery, and Natural History Museum or Bogd Khaan Museum.

Day 2. Amarbayasgalant Monastery/
In 1727 the then Manchurian King sponsored the construction of the Amarbayasgalant monastery in memory of Saint Zanabazar. It is the most pure example of Mongolian Buddhist design and architecture, as opposed to the prevailing Tibetan influence elsewhere. Overnight in ger camp.

Day 3. Bulgan aimag Bugat province
We driving third day little bit more to arrive Khuwsgul sea on time.
There is nice landscape of Khangai mountains. Our cook offering to you delicious picnic. Relax in the silent land and looking stars or milky way.
Overnight in tent.

Day 4, 5 Lake Khovsgol
Spend 2 days exploring the lakeshore and surrounding mountains and meadows. You will have the opportunity to visit local nomads. And experience their unique the way of life style. Try Mongolian style horse back riding, including a visit with a Tsaatan. Family who still live teepees in the deep forest, raising reindeer. Overnight in a ger camp along the scenic lakeshore.

Day 6. Khorgo National park: Terkhiin Tsagaan sea
Today we drive to Khorgnationalpark and we exploring today life of nomadic people. We have sixth day chance to visit them. Overnight in tent.

Day 7, 8 Khorgo Terkhiin Tsagaan nuur.
A natural monument located in Tariat somon of arkhangai aimag, Khorgo Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur park was established to protect the spectacular mountain scenery and endangered species of fauna and flora. The unique natural complex of Khorgo mountain 2240 m and Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake 28 sq m appeared as a result uf volcanic eruptions many thousand of years ago. The area has extinct volcanoes, many beautiful lakes, a great number of animal and birds, and its definitely one of the best natural tourist attractions.

Day 9. Tsenkher Hot Spa/ 120
Drive to the Tsenkher Hot Spa. On the way you will see fantastic landscapes.
Overnight in a ger camp.

Day 10. Khara Khorum city and Erdene Zuu Monastery /
Historic Khara Khorum city was founded by the descendents of Chinggis Khaan, it flourished as the capital of the Mongolian Empire during the 13 th century. The Erdene Zuu monastery was built by Abtai San Khaan, the grandfather of Zanabazar, in 1586 as the first architectural example of a new style of Buddhism he founded called ( yellow Buddhism). The monastery covers an area of about 400 square meters, surrounded by 108 stupas- outdoor monuments containing precious Buddhist relics- and has 3 main temples. At its zenith, there were 1000 resident monks and after its destruction in the 1930s, the government has slowly restored this monastery. It has been used as a museum since the 1960s. Day 11, Khogno Khaan mountain/
This natural spot is famous for it is mixture of several types of terrain: ranging from there high rocky khogno Khaan mountain to a small lake coexisting within the legendary Gobi sand dunes. Forest and steppe create gorgeous landscape were local nomadic families live, breading their horses and sheep. Visit the old, picturesque Owgon Monastery were there will be good trekking or horse back riding as an option. Overnight in a ger camp

Day 12. Ulaanbaatar city /
Back to the city on mainly paved roads brings as back to your hotel for check in. The rest of the day is free time for explore on your own and to shop.

Day 13. Transfer to the airport or Central Rail Road Station.

Mongolia Tour by Jeep II

Day 1. Ulaanbaatar
We will meet you at the Buyant-Ukhaa international Airport or central Rail Roud Station. Transfer to your centrally located 4 star Hotel. Day 2. Baga Gazriin Chuluu/ 200km
Baga Gazriin Chuluu is a huge network of rock formations. Buddhist monks found century in its deepest gorges during the Stalinist repressions. Over night in a ger camp.

Day 3. Delgerkhangai mountain/ 200km
The endless steppe and striking mountains will draw us through vast scenery. At the days End we will arrive at the spectacular Delgerkhangai mountain (1913 meters). Overnight in comfortable tents.

Day 4. Yol Canyon/ 230 km
Morning sight-seeing is the famous Yol Canyon a gorgeous valley walled by high Rocky mountains. The remains of ancient glaciers are still accessable in its deepest crevasses. Overnight in ger camp.

Day 5. Khongoriin sand dunes/ 180 km
Drive to Khongoriin sand dunes and oasis. The remarkable dunes extend over 180 km and rise to a height of around 120 meters. If you climb to the top you will hear the “singing sand”effect in the wind and see the river meandering along the sands edge. Overnight in a ger camp.

Day 6. Bayanzag / 140km
This site was originally discovered and explored by the famous American scientist Roy Chapman Andrew during the 1922 s when he launched several expeditions excavate ancient dinosaur skeleton and eggs. At sunset these scenic red cliffs create brilliant color contrasts with the Gobi desert bush flora. Overnight in a tents.

Day 7. Ongi Monastery/ 160km
We continue our tour into the Ongi Monastry ruins. Until the 1930’s more than 500 monks practiced here in certain Temples. However, the site was destroyed during the Stalinist Purges and now remains as witness of those events.
Overnight in a ger camp.

Day 8. Orkhon Waterfall / 390 km
The Orkhon Valley is rich and beauty and historical sites. Not only will you experience the magnificent
waterfall and volcanic magma flows, you will also find rock monuments and engravings from the ancient Turkic state. Overnight in a ger camp.

Day 9. Tsenkher Hot Spa/ 120 km
Drive to the Tsenkher Hot Spa. On the way you will see fantastic landscapes.
Overnight in a ger camp.

Trek Mongolia

Discover Mongolia on a trek in 16 days.

 

Day 1. Ulaanbaatar
Upon arrival transfer to centrally located hotel. After a short rest we will continue exploring Ulaanbaatar city. Visiting Sukhbaatar square, Zaisan Hill - a monument for soldiers from second WW, Gandan monastery – the cite of Buddhism in Mongolia and the Natural History Museum which contains complete skeletons of ancient dinosaurs and an entire display of wild life found in Mongolia. Enjoy a welcome diner at the Hotel.

Day 2. Ulaanbaatar – Moron- Khatgal
Fly to Moron, capital of Khuvsgul province. Continue by 4x4 minivan or jeep cross Mongolian steppe land to Lake Khuvsgul, situated in a pristine alpine setting of forest, mountain and meadows. While in the countryside, stay overnight in gers, the traditional tents of nomadic herders. On the way we will see northern part of Mongolian thick forest we will have a chance of encountering the wildlife of this area. Khovsgol province is located northern part of Mongolia. Dinner and overnight at the ger camp.

Day 3-4. Khatgal-Toilogt (trekking)
In the morning we will start trekking to the Toilogt. On the way we will observe great Sibirian Taiga, which consist from larch, aspen and birch, especially edelweiss-the Mongolian Symbol immortality. We will explore the fascinating and unique spot Khuvsgul Lake-second biggest and deepest (262m) fresh water lake. Overnught in ger camp.

Day 5-9. Toilogt-Renchinlchumbe
At those days we will trek to the highest mountain Khoridol Saridag, which is 3200 meters from the sea level. Trek through forested mountains to visit Tsaatan Family. Stay overnight it the tent.

Day 10-13. Renchinlchumbe- Ulaan –Uul
Renchinlchumbe subdivision through the mountain of Khoridol Saridag and Taiga forest. On the way we will pass by trekking some part of road. We will trek across to Darkhad depression on arrived Ulaan-Uul administrative, which is the one of beautiful lakes of graet lakes depression. Today we will have trekking beautiful areas of lake. Stay overnight in the tent.

Day 14. today we will drive to Moron town which is administrative center of Khuvsgol province stay overnight at the Hotel.

Day 15. Moron Ulaanbaatar
Fly back to Ulaanbaatar city. After a short rest we will visiting Bogd Khaan winter palace and free time or shopping. This evening, enjoy a performance of traditional dancers and khoomii (throut) singers. Stay at the hotel
