Upper Dolpa |
The villages in the Tarap region are mostly
Tibetan style.
Remoteness and isolation have turned these
people into one of the most underdevoloped traditional
groups in Nepal. |

Day 01 : Kanigaon - Proceed along the Barabong Khola
to Heutaghar, cross the river to Sahartard and on to
Kanigon.
Day 02 : Re-cross the river to Lahini, again cross
the river to Kamot Taka and then proceed to Do Tarap.
About 4 km down to the Ship Chhak Gumba and cross the
river to Kakar Gumba and Guru Gumba.
Day 03 : Chharka Bhot - From Do Tarap you trek north-east,
then 15 km south-east to Chharka.
Day 04 : Fly out to Kathmandu in the morning. |

Upper Dolpo II |
Dolpo is located in the mid-western region
of Nepal abd due south of Tibet. The Dolpo people
had settled in Nepal from Tibet so long ago
that they have evolved their own unique traditions
nd culture.
The blue sheep, Himalayantahar, jackal and
wolf are common inhabitants of this region.
The spotted leopard may be seen up to the tree
line and the snow leopard beyond.
The route follows the most panoramic and spectacular
views of the majestic Dhaulagiri. |

Day 01 : Tarakot (2800 m) - The trek starts from
Dunai, the district headquarters and continues along
a beaten track east and then southeast for almost 20
km. to Tarakot.
Day 02 : Lahini (3200 m) - The trail proceeds northeast
via Khanigaon nd then along the Barabong Khola north
east and reaches Lahini.
Day 03 : Dho-Tarap (4040 m) - Still advance along the
Tarap Khola past big caves (3000 m) and reach Dho-Tarap.
Day 04 : Fly out to Kathmandu in the morning. |

Rolwaling Valley |
Rolwaling is the valley just below Gauri
Shankar (7145 m), a peak once considered to
be the highest in the world. It separates the
valley from the Tibetan plateau.
Rolwaling is a rewarding trek off the beaten
path. |

Day 01 : Gyalche (2760 m) - The trail goes through
Rolwling valley close to the border with Tibet. Trek
time is 6 h.
Day 02 : Nah (4180 m) - The trek proceeds through Beding
to Nah. The area is inhabited by Sherpa and dominated
by the majestic Gauri Shankar. Trek time 5 h.
Day 03 : Return to Beding.
Day 04 : Fly out to Kathmandu in the morning. |

Everest Kala Patar |
Kalapatar - which means black rock, is barely
5 kms from the Everest BC and is 6645 m above
sea level.
This trek leads through Sherpa country with
some of the highest cultivated areas in the
world. Especially around the village of Dingboche
many Yaks are to be seen. |

Day 01 : Namche Bazar (3440 m) - The trek passes
through Benker and Jorsale. It takes about 6 h to reach
the main village of Khumbu.
Day 02 : The trail leads through rhododendron forest
to the monastery Tengboche. This gompa lies at the foot
of the mighty Kangtega and offers magnificent views
of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Tawoche and
Khumbila. Trek time is 6 h.
Day 03 : Dingboche (4343 m) - Descend from Tengboche
and cross Imjha Kola to reach Pangboche - spectacular
views all around. Proceed to Dingboche. The total time
taken is 5 h.
Day 04 : Lobuche (4930 m) - After 5 h trek, reach Lobuche.
Camp site at Lobuche is a meadow between the glacier
and the Lobuche Preak (6145 m). Tawoche (6542 m) and
Nuptse (7879 m) tower above.
Day 05 : On this day, the trek involves going to and
returning from Kala Patar (5545 m). An early start is
necessary. The trail leads along the Khumbu glacier
through mases of rocks. scend Kala Patar for a panoramic
view of Pumori (7161 m), Everest (8848 m), the Tibetan
ChangTse (7501 m) and many other peaks.
Day 06 : Pheriche - Descend all the wy to Pheriche.
Day 07 : Fly out to Kathmandu in the morning. |

Everest Tengboche |
Tengboche is the great cultural and religious
center for the people of the Khumbu Region.
The Tengboche Gompa is situated under the Kangtega
and Thamserku mountains. The gompa is the spiritual
and social center of the local Sherpa. |

Day 01 : Namche Bazar (3440 m) - The trek follows
the Bhote Kosi River through forest and pasture land,
passing throughBenker and Jarsale. Cross the Bote Kosi
and climb steeply to the large Sherpa village of Namche.
Everst (8848 m) and Lhotse (8516 m) come into sight.
Thamserku (6623 m) and Kwangde (6011 m) loom to the
east and west while the sacred mountain Khumbila (5707
m) stands to the north behind the village.
Day 02 : Khumjung (3791 m) - trek for about 5 h leads
to Khumjung. This village is one of the most beautiful
in the Khumbu region.
Day 03 : Tengboche (3863 m) - The trail descends from
Khumjung displaying spectacular views of Ama Dablam
(6812 m) and Kangtega (6779 m) flanked by the towering
heights of Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse (7879 m). The
trek is 5 h.

Kailash - Manasarowar |
Kailash, also known by the name Tise, can
easily be reached by chopper.
An epic trip with a cleansing parikrama of
the holiest of mountains. |

DAY 01 Arrive Kathmandu & transfer to your hotel.
Over night at Kathmandu.
DAY 02 A.M: Half-day city tour of Pashupatinath temple.
P.M: Briefing about the Kailash Manasarovar tour. Overnight
at Kathmandu.
DAY 03 Transfer to airport for your flight to Nepalgunj.
On arrival transfer to hotel and rest.
DAY 04 Early morning transfer to airport for chartered
helicopter or flight to simkot for immigration formalities
& Proceed to Hilsa by chartered helicopter flight.
After arrival at Hilsa, we set out for Sera, a short
hike of approximately 1-km to the Tibetan border where
our land cruisers will be waiting. After brief introductions
with our Tibetan guide, we will drive for Taklakot [known
to Chinese as Purang] and on arrival transfer to guesthouse
and rest.
DAY 05 Full day free to acclimatize and relax at Taklakot.
DAY 06 Drive from Taklakot to Manasarovar [120 km –
3 Hrs].
DAY 07 During morning hour take holy bath or just relax
at the edge of holy Manasarovar Lake. After breakfast,
drive for Manasarovar Parikrama via Chuigumpa &
hot spring. Arrive darchen and overnight at camp or
guesthouse.
DAY 08 Drive to Tarboche [Astapath] 8kms & perform
puja at Astapath before starting Parikrama. Start Kailash
Parikrama, trek to Dira Puk [10 Kms 4-5 Hrs.]. Overnight
at camp.
DAY 09 Continue Parikrama over Dromala pass to Zuthul
Puk [22 kms 7-8 Hrs.]. Overnight at camp.
DAY 10 End Parikrama near Darchen [14 kms 3-4 hrs].
Drive to Taklakot. Overnight at guesthouse or camp.
DAY 11 Early morning drive to Sera via Khojarnath Temple
[an ancient Temple of Lord Ram, Laxman and Sita]. From
Sherpa, we walk back to the Hilsa helipad to wait for
our flight back to Simkot. After immigration, proceed
for Nepalgunj by chartered helicopter or aircraft [fixed
wing]. Arrive Nepalgunj & further proceed to Kathmandu
by flight [fixed wing]. Overnight at Kathmandu.
DAY 12 Final Departure transfer for onward journey. |
